Vana Naturals LLP is a veteran-led agri-food venture developing a coordinated cultivation model in Maharashtra. We aim to put more small holdings to productive use, keep landholders connected to the value created, and build a stronger path from the field to market.
Built on clarity. Measured in the field.
Participating landholders retain their land and make suitable plots available for managed cultivation. Vana works on crop planning, field operations and routes to market, with landholders sharing in the value created. Commercial terms are agreed with each participant.
By organising cultivation across participating holdings, Vana aims to give each plot the attention, planning and market connection that can be difficult to achieve alone.
The ambition is to make productive use of smaller land parcels while keeping landholders connected to the value their land helps create.
Vana is beginning with a roughly 100-acre pilot to establish reliable field operations and measure crop outcomes. As that model is tested, the venture plans to expand aggregation and connect production with post-harvest handling, processing, storage, logistics and markets.
Bring suitable small holdings into a coordinated cultivation plan.
Plan crops and manage agricultural operations at the field level.
Bring output into a consistent post-harvest workflow.
Develop grading, processing and lot-level quality checks suited to the intended markets.
Build buyer relationships and routes to domestic and international markets as production becomes reliable.
The world will need to nourish nearly nine billion people by 2035, sustainably, efficiently and inclusively. Vana is a small step towards that challenge.
We are building an agri-food venture with a global vision, beginning in India: bringing fragmented small landholdings together, managing them professionally and connecting them to an efficient farm-to-market value chain, while working towards better and more predictable livelihoods for the communities that depend on them.
We start at the centre of gravity—the farm—and expand outward towards processing and value addition, logistics and markets. Small holdings can be brought together without taking ownership away from landholders. Land and soil need responsible care; better agronomic practices can improve yields and nutrition; post-harvest handling, storage and transport can become more efficient.
Communities should participate in the value created. Over time, Vana aims to connect these pieces into an integrated value chain, from farm to pallet.
Our ambition is to build a responsible, scalable business that manages risk and learns from each operating unit before growing in size and across geographies.
If you share the vision, there is room to help build it.

These are proposed participation arrangements. Eligibility, income baselines, lease rates and sharing terms are agreed in writing after assessing the land and location.
Aggregate adjoining holdings with Vana. The proposed arrangement offers an assured minimum income above present farming income, plus a share in the returns from higher yields. Families can also participate in building the aggregation.
Put uncultivated land to productive use. The proposed arrangement offers assured lease income above the prevailing local rate, plus a share in the returns from higher yields.
Bring the idea to your village. We can explore an awareness session and assess whether the location and available parcels are suitable for aggregation.
Vana submitted an experimental unripe banana powder sample to Intertek for testing. The January 2026 report records compliance with EU Regulation 396/2005 and EU Regulation 2023/915 for the tested parameters, where applicable. This is pilot work as Vana develops its processing and quality systems.
